It’s fun to dream, isn’t it? While I clearly do a lot of shopping, I’m a bit cheap when it comes to how much I’ll spend. Lilly Pulitzer is one of my favorites, but I only ever buy it during the After Party Sale, or on Poshmark for a major discount. But still, I have dreams of one day not being an unemployed college graduate and will be able to buy luxury items. So obviously, I’ve been working on my wishlist of luxury items and making hypothetical purchasing plans! (This blog post may contain affiliate links)
Gucci Marmont matelassé leather shoulder bag
I know, I know, this is a bit basic and it seems like every fashion blogger has this bag, but I think it’s because it’s just so cute! At $1,290, it’s on the lower end of prices for luxury items, and I love the versatility of the bag. It’s large enough to actually be useful and work as a purse, but it doesn’t overwhelm the body, either. It comes in a variety of colors, but I like the classic black! Purchase this beauty here.
Saint Laurent Kate Small in Grain De Poudre Embossed Leather
This really isn’t that different than the Gucci bag above, but hey–that’s why this is my luxury wishlist! At $1,750 this is several hundred more than the Gucci, but it has a flap style opening rather than the zip around and is a slightly more polished and chic look. I personally prefer the silver hardware, but it’s quite striking with the gold, as well. You can shop this stunner here.
Disney x Gucci Ace Sneaker
These aren’t even made in my size, so these will forever remain a dream item only, and I’d honestly be scared to wear these I think so it’s best that I’ll never get them. That being said, these Disney Gucci sneakers were made for my closet! They feature Mickey Mouse laying on his stomach with his head in his hand, it almost looks like he’s reading. If you have $670 to spare, and feet smaller than mine, then please let me live vicariously through you!
Gucci Crystal Accented Cat Eye Glasses
I didn’t realize how much I liked Gucci until I made this list, wow! I originally came across these glasses on Poshmark and absolutely loved them! Unfortunately, I don’t love the price tag (in fact, I love cheap glasses). These pink cat-eye frames are outlined in pink gemstones and are so extra, but don’t seem terribly garish or gaudy to me. Or maybe that’s the artist in me. They were originally $830 (!!!) and are now on sale for $500 at Nordstrom Rack….considering glasses are a true necessity for me, perhaps they’ll join my wardrobe one day, but I highly doubt it. I’ll keep dreaming about them….
Diamond Stud Earrings
This is arguably the most practical item on my wishlist (if you can even say that much). I have some great Diamonique studs from QVC, but I would love the real thing! This is a classic piece that would last a lifetime and is a true investment piece. I picked this 2.00 ct. t.w. pair from Ross-Simons that are only $5,000 compared to their usualy $10,000….my bank account hurts just thinking about that! But 1 c.t. per ear would be so dazzly…if you want to join my day dreams of diamonds, check these out!
Jimmy Choo Sacora 100 Satin Pearl Sandals
If I ever get married, I think I might actually splurge and get these shoes (or their equivalent since it might be decades from now, ha). They are so delicate, elegant, and tastefully overstated. And who doesn’t love pearls? I’m probably most stingy when it comes to shoe prices, but these are just so breathtaking that I can actually envision dropping $850 on these for my wedding day….wistful sigh. Maybe I’ll live out my old Hollywood glam daydreams in the future, but for now I’ll keep drooling over these.
Burberry Scarf
One of my dear friends actually gave me a Burberry scarf for my 21st birthday and it’s one of my favorite material things I own, I feel so chic when I wear it. But it’s also made me want to get one in every single color Burberry has–all 27! The Classic Check Cashmere Scarf is a pretty penny at $470, which I think is truly a luxury purchase, so it definitely deserves a spot on my list. While I like all of the color, I particularly like the Candy Pink to brighten up a winter outfit. You can also add your monogram to it for free which is a nice personal touch.
La Prairie Cellular Cream Platinum Rare
I’m going to be real honest–I discovered my first wrinkle today and started looking into anti-aging skincare. I’ll just by drug store level creams I’m sure, or perhaps I’ll splurge and get something from Sephora. But just for fun I went to Harrod’s and picked the most expensive cream they have for anti-aging. I mean it’s over $1,000, it has to completely erase wrinkles right?!?! This type of product really makes me question how someone has so much money that they can drop $1,042 on 50mL of cream….but regardless, if you want to pretend you’re rolling in that type of money, join me! Apparently this helps your skin absorb nutrients to keep it healthier and younger looking…they say it’s the “absolute pinnacle of science and luxury”…so that’s why it’s on my luxury wishlist!
Philip Treacy Curved Floral Detail Wide-Brim Hat
One day, I’m going to be invited to a British royal wedding and need a fancy hat! Or maybe the Kentucky Derby will be my only event requiring a hat, but either way this hat is gorgeous! I don’t even like hats, though, so $2,251 is outrageous, but it truly is a beautiful hat. The flower accent is very fitting for my love of florals and the soft pink is so feminine. If you also think you’re going to need an over-the-top hat, then this is for you!
LV Neverfull MM Pastel
I think everyone and their mom either owns a Neverfull or wants one, and I’m no exception. I love the classic pattern, but I saw this pastel version and audibly gasped. It’s a perfect combination of my favorite colors and it’s so perfect for the spring and summer time…or all year round if you love pink and pastels like me! It’s $2,170 which is definitely expensive for such a trendy piece, rather than classic, which is why I’m including this over the classic Neverfull. Check this beauty out here.
So there ya have it, the top 10 items on my luxury item wishlist! In reality, there are other things on it like cars and such, but I figured I’d keep it focused to fashion and beauty for this post. What’s on your luxury wishlist? Let me know!
